If you're going for a great, all-American experience, then Tally-Ho's is The Place to go. It doesn't get any more American than this. You got the sweet, fried smell in the air, the sounds of the old jukebox hits playin', and good ole Southern hospitality service that comes straight to you curbside. We got the cheeseburgers and shared an enormous side of fresh onion rings. The burgers were good, as were the onion rings. They didn't taste greasy. The sweet tea was extremely sweet, though. I'd eat here again.

This place is totally a Panama City institution. Went there my whole life while growing up in PC, and I'm happy to say that not much (outside of the glossed-up exterior facade) has changed. The Cuban sandwiches are still wonderfully flaky and delicious, the crinkle fries are still perfectly hot and salted, and the service is pure Southern hospitality. It's a real drive-up restaurant, so watch out for the seagulls, and make sure your A/C works. If this place ever shuts down, it would be a big loss for PC.

A Real Drive In. Been there for a very long time. Good Burgers and Fries. You can stay in your car or sit out at picnic tables on the side.

Love love love the food. From Cubans to fried gizzards and every region in between. I grew up on this place and it hasn't changed since. The only negatives that there isn't one where I live but I make sure to come every time I'm home!

Mouth watering good grub on the go. No seating inside, just in your car or out on the bench they've got. The burgers are delicious and my girlfriend ate all my fries before I had a chance to try one, they must have been good as well. I'm okay with getting a heart attack if it's from eating these burgers all the time.

Fried gizzards and fries!!!! This place has been around for a longggg time. It's one of those old fashion drive thru burger joints. Their food is phenomenal and excellent service. It gets busy but it's so worth it!

Tally-Ho is really a drive-in sort of place. They want to come up to your car and bring you your food. It's absolutely not designed for any walk-up service, though there are a couple of picnic tables if you prefer. I was told that their Cuban Sandwich was excellent, so that was what I ordered. It was ready very quickly and I opened it back up at the office. This is the strangest Cuban I've ever had. I don't recall seeing lettuce on a Cuban. And this wasn't ham and roast pork though it did have salami and some sort of melted cheese that was definitely not Swiss. No pickles? No mustard. Very different. Onion rings is a huge order, enough for two. Very thin sliced onion in batter and quite tasty, if you like your onion rings that way. A little greasy, but served very hot.

A Panama City classic. With the same owners as Jimmy's on 6th Street, this drive-in has been around for a very long time, and has a great old-fashioned Americana vibe to it. The fries are plain but good, and the service is usually fast and friendly, but it is the sandwiches that keep folks coming back. The Philly Cheese Steak is my current favorite, and the Missus loves the burgers. Their Cubans also have a very good reputation. This is very much a local institution and absolutely worth a visit to get a taste of Old Panama City.

Loved it. Have been going since I was a kid. Fried chicken was good. Hamburger was good. Fries were good. Service was super-friendly. Plus, it's a DRIVE-IN. A real one! Definitely check out this piece of history.

Road tripping along the gulf coast when their sign caught our eye...'gizzards are the secret to life'. Who can resist this claim? Pulled in with our trailer and found out they come right out to take the order. So, while in the south- eat like a southerner- breaded fried gizzards, fried okra, hush puppies and cole slaw plus a hand spun chocolate malted. It was all tasty and gizzards just right rubber chew. Waiting to cash in on the effect although the deep fry might minus a few years. Good stop for a taste of the south.

Off the chain burger joint! If uou love true American food you gotta stop here! Awesome staff! Prices are great for the quantity and quality of food you get here! This place is a gem hidden in plain sight! You can even call in your order and get it in one of two pick up lanes! Must visit!

I've been going to Tally-Ho since I was a little girl and have always been pleased leaving. I usually get their cheeseburger with fries just because I believe they have one of the best burgers in town, but they also have one of the best Cubans as well. The staff is always more than friendly. More than a handful of times they've even came back to my car to offer a refill and just check on us to see how we are doing. I always make sure to stop at Tally-Ho when I come to Panama City.

Old fashioned car hop service. My parents ate here 'back in the day'. Very cool. Eat in your car off the tray they attach to your window or at picnic tables. I am a devotee of the jumbo chicken fried steak sandwich. Yummmmm!
